DE PERE, WI – Tony Wied today released the following statement announcing he is officially running for Congress in Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District.

I’m humbled by the outpouring of support from family and friends and the support and endorsement of President Donald J. Trump. I look forward to earning the trust of Wisconsin voters and taking the lessons I’ve learned from three decades of operating businesses in Northeast Wisconsin to Washington, DC. Wied is an America First businessman and political outsider who was endorsed by President Trump last night. Wied has spent three decades successfully starting, building, and operating businesses in Northeast Wisconsin. He owned and operated Dino Stop, a chain of gas stations and convenience stores, which he sold in 2022.

Tony Wied is a lifelong Wisconsinite. He resides in De Pere with his wife of 23 years Angela, four sons and dog Baker. He is focused on delivering America First policies in Washington, DC, and standing with President Donald J.
